Sierra de Guadarrama & Bola del Mundo

Located 50 kms away from Madrid, the Sierra de Guadarrama has often acted as judge and executioner of La Vuelta, being one of the race’s main high-mountain stages.


The  Bola del Mundo is its most famous climb. Most Strava KOMs here belong to Alberto Contador.
