The Gredos Sierra Mountains are located about 90 kms away from Madrid, in the province of Avila. This mountain range traditionally hosts a couple stages of La Vuelta, one of them usually being one of the top high-mountain stages of the race.

Sierra de Gredos features a great variety of Cat. 1 climbs, such as El Pico, Serranillos, Peña Negra, Mijares or Pedro Bernardo, to mention a few. If you are looking for top-rated pro terrain, this is it!
